LG Electronics annoucned today the relaease of the HB954TBW, the company's latest Blu-ray home theater system. The system includes a Blu-ray disc player (BD Live) compatible with DVD and CD, and features many sound enhancing technologies as well as specific pre-set sound modes for better audio-visual experience.

Apple's iPod digital players can be easily connected to the system through a special docking slot for play back of audio files in surround mode.

The HB954TBW retails in S. Korea for 1,299,000 Won ($1044).
