LG Electronics' 'Wing' Smartphone Said to Have a Swivelling Display
LG Electronics will release a new dual-screen phone, featuring amain display that swivels sideways to reveal a secondary screen underneath, the Korean Herald reports.
The phone, which is codenamed “Wing,” will reportedly have a main 6.8-inch display alongside a smaller 4-inch screen with a 1:1 aspect ratio.
Unlike the existing dual screen smartphones, which are designed for multitasking, the LG Wing focused on content viewing. for example, when you run a photo app on the main screen, you can run editing functions on the second screen or watch a video and browse for related information.
Like the LG Velvet, Wing is saod to support 5G mobile communications and will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series mobile processor. It is also said to have a triple-rear camera array with a 64-megapixel main sensor
The phone is planned for release in the second half of this year.
