PROGRADE DIGITAL ANNOUNCES NEW 16TB USB 4.0 PRO SSD

PROGRADE DIGITAL ANNOUNCES NEW 16TB USB 4.0 PRO SSD

Consumer Electronics Aug 26,2025 0

ProGrade Digital announces the latest addition to its SSD lineup: the 16TB PG10 External SSD. Building on the success of its USB 4.0 SSD product line, this new capacity joins existing 2TB, 4TB, and 8TB models, delivering best-in-class sustained performance in a portable, bus-powered design.

The PG10 External SSD is based on USB 4.0 technology, supporting up to 40Gb/sec with real-world read/write speeds up to 2500MB/s, and sustained write speed of 2000MB/s — with no cache throttling and no thermal throttling. The SSD also includes ProGrade’s patented magnetic base and an adhesive metal plate for secure mounting to work surfaces. A certified high-speed USB 4.0 cable is included to ensure maximum performance out of the box.

“Introducing a 16TB, bus-powered SSD with these speeds is not just a spec milestone—it’s a workflow revolution,” said Mark Lewis, Chief Marketing Officer at ProGrade Digital. “We’ve combined massive capacity with best-in-class sustained performance, enabling creators to work faster, more efficiently, and without interruption—whether they’re on set, in the field, or in post.”
