Mad Dog Multimedia Unleashes New DOMINATOR FX 5500 Graphics Accelerators

GPUs Jan 7,2005 0

NVIDIA(R)-based Graphics Card Offers Real-time Effects, Dual Monitor Support and Enhanced Memory For Businesses and PC Enthusiasts Mad Dog Multimedia, a $52 million multimedia technology company is giving businesses, PC entertainment enthusiasts and the PC upgrade market more pixel power without breaking the bank with its new DOMINATOR(TM) FX 5500 graphics accelerators. Powered by NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) FX technology, Mad Dog developed both AGP and PCI versions that support graphics-intensive applications such as Photoshop(R) and Illustrator(R) plus the new Direct X(R) 9 games.

With 128 MB of MegaClock(TM) Enhanced DDR Memory and "frame buffer post processing," business users and enthusiasts alike can view virtual worlds and Photoshop(TM) like effects in real time. NVIDIA's CineFX(TM) engine renders multiple, complex textures simultaneously and Accuview(TM) AntiAliasing widens the data highway resulting in smoother graphics without slowing down rendering speed.

Through Mad Dog's MegaGlass(TM) technology, the DOMINATOR FX 5500 will support and drive two monitors at once. The DOMINATOR FX 5500 also delivers TV-out video at resolutions up to 1024 x 768 for more effective business presentations and more realistic display of entertainment and gaming software.

"Consumers and businesses are utilizing applications everyday which require enhanced capabilities from a graphics accelerator," says Karen McCauley, Director of Channel Marketing for Mad Dog Multimedia. "Our new DOMINATOR FX 5500 graphics accelerators support these graphics-intensive applications at a price anyone can afford."

The DOMINATOR FX 5500 PCI and DOMINATOR FX 5500 AGP are backed with Mad Dog Multimedia's lifetime warranty and are available at an MSRP of $99.99.
