The Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor was announced on February 8, 2016. It is a 64-bit, ultra-low power (2W) quad-core SoC clocked at a base frequency of 1.44 GHz with a burst up to 1.92 GHz. The chip supports up to 4 GB of memory and packs the HD Graphics (Cherry Trail) GPU:

The read/write speeds of the eMMC drive of the Minix Neo Z83-4U system are adequate, reaching 130-140Μb/sec for read and 70-75Mb/sec for write.

On the otehr hand, the older Minix Neo Z83-4 returned 118~130Mb/sec and 39~72Mb/sec for read and write, respectively. This device uses an eMMC v5.0.

 

The reported CPU temperatures are relatively low and did not exceed the 50 degrees Celcious thoughout testing and under full load:
