Writing Quality Tests - C1 / C2 Error Measurements

The C1 / C2 error rate was measured for the recorded discs burned during the previous writing tests (jitter). The software used was UMDoctor Pro II, and the reader was the Optorite DD0203 drive.

- Summary

According to our measurement the drive's CD writing quality is good with all media brands but mostly with Taiyo Yuden. The C1 levels are all quite low. However there were some cases that C2 errors were reported. The strange thing is that all the C2 error were occured at the 68 minute for all cases.
