MSI Launches NX7800GS AGP Graphic Card
MSI on February 10 launched its NX7800GS graphics card, incorporating Nvidia?s GeForce 7800 GS GPU.
The NX7800GS series includes features such as the CineFX 4.0, Microsoft DirectX 9.0 Shader Model 3.0 and OpenGL 2.0 for all OpenGL applications. The newest Nvidia GeForce 7800 GS also has support for 64-bit floating point texture filtering for high dynamic-range (HDR) lighting effects. With Nvidia?s PureVideo technology, the MSI NX7800GS supports MPEG-2/DVD formats as well as the new Microsoft Windows Media HD Video (WMV HD) standard for HDTV resolutions (1920x1080) and 3:2 pull-down correction. Display gamma correction ensures that videos are not too dark, overly bright, or washed out, regardless of the video format of display.
