NetBlender Introduces High Definition Training Series
NetBlender introduces a new High Definition training series aimed to provide hands-on education and practical experience for DVD developers making the leap into HD DVD and Blu-ray disc production.
Called the "Expert Series," the training will be conducted by leaders in the field who have produced numerous commercial HD titles.
The series will launch in Barcelona, Spain on November 14-15, 2007 with a two-day course on HD DVD development. Dubbed ES07:Barcelona, the two day session will consist of both demonstration and hands-on development. Attendees will leave the session with a completed sample project and reusable code that they can implement in future projects.
Scott Bates, formerly Director of Multimedia for Deluxe Studios in Burbank, CA will lead the seminars. Scott has worked on numerous HD DVD titles, including the highly acclaimed 300. Philippe Perquin, an HD DVD developer based in Paris will lead the hands on sessions. Other participants include Microsoft, who will give a presentation on testing with the Xbox 360 Emulator and Eclipse Data Systems, who will present on AACS and the replication process.
Attendees will receive a starter kit consisting of sample HD DVD content, the High Definiton DVD Handbook, a jump drive with sample code and a two-month subscription to DoStudio MX, NetBlender's complete HD DVD authoring tool.
