The Optorite DD1205 supports up to 40X CAV DAE speed. When using a pressed AudioCD and its CD-R copy with EAC, we logged the following results:

The Optorite DD1205 received a score of 100 (perfect) in the Nero CD Speed Advanced DAE test. CDSpeed showed that the average reading speed was 28.55X, and the drive supports reading of SubChannel data, Leadin / Leadout data and CD Text.

We also tried to rip the contents of both discs on our HD. The process finished successfully with the 90min disc while with the 99min, the disc could go no further than the 24th track out of the 26 tracks on the disc.
