Smartphones Aug 6,2015 0

Pebble’s latest smartwatch, the Pebble Time, has been available for purchase for just a couple of weeks. But the company today it’s opening up preorders of the Pebble Time Steel, with shipments due in six to eight weeks. The smartwatch people love and made happen on Kickstarter, is available now at pebble.com worldwide, Best Buy (online and in-store, U.S. only), and Target (online and in-store, U.S. only) the week of August 17.

The Time Steel is a more fancy version of the Time with similar design and functionality. The difference is that it’s made entirely of steel and has an improved display and better battery life. It sells for $249 with a leather strap or $299 with a steel band.

From the pool to the picnic table, it’s a great watch that fits you perfectly. It has an always-on color screen, mic for voice replies, water resistance to 30 meters, up to a week-long battery life, and thousands of apps and watchfaces.

You can control music, screen calls, track workouts, play games, or take charge of your day with the new timeline interface.

Pebble Time works with both iPhone and Android smartphones. It is available in black, white, or red colors.
