PONY CANYON has announced the launch of a free video-on-demand service targeted at KDDI's broadband cellphone CDMA 1X WIN.

The service provides two-minute videos digesting six different music clips or idol movies, designed to promote the company's Chaku-Uta and Chaku-Movie services.

The 1.5MB videos are provided on a streaming basis and updated one to three times per month.
