Optical disc maker Prodisc Technology will diversify its product lineup by adding production lines for handset camera modules at its factory in Ningbo, China later this quarter, according to the company.

The company stated it aims to ship two million handset camera modules this year.

The company has already sent samples to target clients and has received orders for VGA, 1.3-megapixel and 2.0-megapixel lens modules from Taiwan- and China-based handset makers.
