Ricoh MP5308D DVD±R/RW Recorder - Page 10
We measured the C1 / C2 error rate on the recorded discs we burned at the various supported writing speeds. The software we used is PleXTools Professional v2.14, and particularly the built-in Q-Check utility. The reader was the Plextor PX-712A (firmware v1.01)

- Summary
The MP5308D needs to improve its writing quality with CD-R media. With specific media we noticed high C1/C2 errors, while with Taiyo Yuden 48X & Mam 52X the C2/CU errors were incredibly high. CMC 48X & TraxData 52X had best results.
