As some people wrote in our forum, Ricoh 7083A (8/8/32) model based on Samsung 408B CDR-W drive. If you wondering how they came up with this conclusion:

"..7083A, has the exact design as the Samsung 408B and I actually compared both in the store. On the 7083A, it has a manufacture ID of SC and it stands for Samsung (I even asked the technician at the store). Also, there's a computer with the 7083A connected and I went to the Device Manager and it showed up SC-408B instead of Ricoh 7083A..." NULL
