Samsung today announced the U.S. launch of a new mobile video service available exclusively for Galaxy owners. Milk Video is a video discovery service. The app has a simple design makes and will learn and refine its content recommendations with every use. By understanding what consumers watch, who they choose to follow, who they like or repost as well as which videos are dismissed, Milk Video will deliver the content that is relevant for each user. In addition, users can follow friends, brands and other users within the app. Users can also share with friends outside of the app via Facebook, Twitter or email.

The Milk Video app is available for download through Google Play: http://m.onel.ink/9586dab7. The app is compatible with Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy Mega, Galaxy S III, Galaxy S 4, Galaxy S 4 mini, Galaxy S III mini and Galaxy S 5 devices.

Milk Video is the latest attempt by Samsung to expand into media. Earlier this year, it shut down its Samsung Media Hub, which was similar to the iTunes and Google Play stores for movies and TV shows. Milk Music is stil lavailable, offering a Pandora-like online radio experience, but daces the competition from Spotify and a slew of others.
