Sumitomo Electric to Exhibit at Integrated Systems Europe 2023
Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. will exhibit at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2023, the world’s largest exhibition of integrated audiovisual systems, to be held in Barcelona, Spain, from Tuesday, January 31 to Friday, February 3, 2023.
ISE has been held since 2004 as the world's largest exhibition that focuses on audiovisual system integration. In 2020, before being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, about 1,300 companies from all over the world exhibited at the event and about 110,000 people visited it.
Sumitomo Electric will exhibit the Thunderbolt™4 cable, which supports the latest standard Thunderbolt™4 for high-speed transmission, and enables high-capacity communication. This product also supports three standards: USB4, Thunderbolt™3, and DP2.1. This cable enables data communication and power supply between the connected device at the same time. Therefore, a mobile computer can be charged just by connecting this cable without using an additional power cable. Also, up to six Thunderbolt™ devices (HDDs, displays, etc.) can be connected with each other through this cable. Daisy-chain connections and star connections using a hub with up to four Thunderbolt™4 ports are available for flexible device configuration.
As an official design partner of Intel Corporation for the development of products that support Thunderbolt™, Sumitomo Electric is looking forward to welcoming visitors to its exhibition booth.
