DVD Recording Tests

- Writing Performance

Toshiba supports DVD-R and DVD-RW writing. The maximum supported speeds is 4X and 2x respectively.

The following pictures come from Nero. The first one is from NeroCdSpeed and shows the writing behavior of Toshiba with a 4X Ricoh DVD-R media while on the second one, we can see the burning process of a same brand disc.

We used NeroBurningRom to write a 4316MB of DVD-Video. After 14:22 sec Nero reported that the burn process completed successfully at 4X.
