USBCard by Freecom. Compact storage card at size of a credit card

USBCard by Freecom. Compact storage card at size of a credit card

Enterprise & IT Oct 20,2003 0

Freecom offers its revolutionary USBCard now in a personalised form, featuring your company logos and your applications! With the Freecom USBCard, all your important private and business data can now be accommodated in any wallet. The card can easily be connected to PC’s, laptop’s, Mac’s or Linux computers by means of the integrated, extremely slim USB-2.0 connection cable, without any driver installation. The USBCard is the same size as a credit card, but can still store up to 1 GB of data. Axel Lucassen, Vice President Sales and Marketing at Freecom Technologies, is convinced of the benefits of the USBCard: "The Freecom USBCardTM sets new standards when it comes to memory solutions. The product is convincing for its unique simplicity and ease of use. We are sure that many users will carry the USBCard in their wallet, and will no longer want to travel without it."

These key values of the USBCard can now also be used as a strong innovative advertising tool. Freecom offers its new USBCard in a personalised form, turning the Freecom USBCard into a personal 'My Card'. The personalised USBCard can be used as a storage medium for the company’s own staff, e.g. for the external sales force, and as a gift it makes an excellent customer commitment tool. Freecom offers the unique 'My Card' service in very low quantities (250). Interested companies can create their own personal USBCard online under www.usbcard.com/mycard. A choice of colours is available, text can be inserted on the card featuring advertisement- or company claims, and the customer’s own logo can be uploaded as well to be printed on the 'My Card'. On special request it is also no problem to preload the new card with presentations, software applications, movies or other branding materials. A quotation is then requested online for the required quantity, which is the transmitted automatically to the relevant Freecom office for processing. The customer is contacted personally, thus obtaining an individual quotation as soon as possible.

The Freecom USBCardTM is available in shops from September at a recommended retail price from 129 Euro. The prices for My Card, the personalised USBCard, vary depending on the memory capacity and the quantity ordered. Further information on the Freecom USBCard is available from the website www.USBCard.com or direct from the manufacturer.
