Writing Quality Tests
We used many media and burned them at various recording speeds with Frisby II. We used Nero 5.5.9.6 for all the recordings. The produced CDs, were measured from DigitalDrives and results are illustrated in the following table.

The writing quality of Frisby II is not bad, although it could be better. In non 40X certified media the Smart-Burn feature seems to give improved writing quality, even in cases where it did not limit the writing speed. With 40X or more certified media the feature will not make any important difference, since it is not nessecary. Frisby II seems to give a higher C1 error rate with Mitsubish Chemicals discs and also some C2 errors occured with Taiyo Yuden 32X media with the Smart Burn feature disabled.
