PNY, Albatron, Leadtek to Deliver 6800GS GPUs
After the official introduction of NVIDIA NV42-based GeForce 6800GS GPUs, various vendors have also announced their cards based on the same architecture, but slightly overclocked.
Albatron announced the new PC6800GS VGA card with its core rated at 425 MHz, 256 MB of DDR3 memory with a 256-bit memory bus. The memory can also clock up to 1 GHz.
Leadtek's WinFast PX6800GS TDH 256MB (425MHz/1GHz) will cost about $270.
The PNY Verto GeForce 6800GS Overclocked differs by 470MHz/1.1GHz clock rates and the price of $279.
European Point Of View releases its GeForce 6800 GS and keeps its specifications at 425MHz/1GHz.
Last but not least, the XFX GeForce 6800GS XXX seems to be the most overclocked of all featuring 485MHz core clock at 1.1GHz memory clock. The company will also launch the XFX GeForce 6800 GS eXTreme clocked at 450MHz/1.05GHz.
