Software Developers Embraces AGEIA PhysX Technology

GPUs May 11,2006 0

Several software developers announced support for AGEIA PhysX Technology. The AGEIA PhysX processor powers massive and pervasive real-time interactive worlds that for the first time obey the laws of classical physics. The AGEIA PhysX processor is available now in game PCs from Dell, Alienware and Falcon Northwest, and on add-in boards from ASUS and BFG Technologies.

Software developers like Czech Republic game developer Illusion Softworks, Crazy House, Kuju Entertainment, HD Publishing B.V. and NetDevil announced that will support the AGEIA PhysX(TM) processor in upcoming game titles.

Moreover, ELSA Japan unveiled that will reseller AGEIA PhysX graphics cards to the Asian etail/retail market, which will strenght AGEIA sales. "The AGEIA PhysX Accelerator is an exciting new product, and ELSA Japan has the resources and support to make it a success in this region," said Masahiro Kondo, president of ELSA Japan. "We look forward to offering this new technology to our many customers in Japan and Korea, and hope for continued success for AGEIA in this rapidly growing market for PC games."
