Apple is reportedy planning to bundle a new interactive booklet, sleeve notes and other features with music downloads later this year.
The company is working with Sony Music, EMI, Warner Music and Universal Music Group, on the new project codenamed "Cocktail", according to the Financial Times. The project aims to boost interest in albums by bundling liner notes and video clips with the music.
Apple will also release a portable tablet-PC in the Christmas shopping season. According to Financial Times, the device will have a 10-inch touch-screen and will connect to the internet and have access to Apple's online stores.
The device is expected to allow consumers watch movies, video clips, photos, interactive album material and other content while they listen to music.
