Panasonic Introduces New portable TVs
Panasonic today introduced three new portable TV devices including one equipped with a Blu-Ray player and Digital TV tuner.
The company announced the DMP-BV300, the DMP-HV200 and the
DMP-HV150 models.
All the new models come with a 10.1" α-Si TFT panel with a 1024 x 600 resolution, they support of MPEG-2, AVCHD, ISDB-T Mobile Video and H.264 Mobile Video stored on SD/SDHC or SDXC Cards or an SDXC Cards as well as featuring a Splashsproof body (IPX3) and Panasonic Online Viera Hub giving access many on demand services available in Japan.
The DMP-BV300 model comes equipped with a Blu-ray player compatible with BD-R and BD-RE (Sl and Dl) discs, it supports playback of digital broadcast recordings stored on BD-R/RE and AVCREC format, audio CDs and BD-LIVE discs. The player also supports JPEG or MP3 Files stored on a SD card or on an USB Thumbdrive. The device includes a battery pack capable of powering it for about 4 hours as well as an HDMI output.
The DMP-HV200 is featuring the company's first Hand Gesture model controlled UI. The UI allows users to control the portable TV basic functions (Volume and Channels) without touching either the TV itself or the TV remote.
Finally the DMP-HV150 operates as a portable Digital TV.
