AT&T Details New Asus Padfone X
Revealed at CES in January, the Asus PadFone X is coming soon and AT&T has provided its technical characteristics.
According to Ryan Lee, AT&T's Senior Product Marketing Manager, the PadFone X features two devices: the PadFone (phone) and the PadFone Station that acts like a tablet.
The tablet features a 5-inch display with a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, while the phone unit has a 9-inch display that has a 1,920 X 1,200 resolution.
Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. The PadFone also has a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 1-megapixel camera on the front. The PadFone Station has an 1-megapixel front-facing shooter.
Other features include a 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a 2,300mAh battery on the PadFone, and a 4,990mAh battery on the PadFone Station. AT&T did noit announce the pricing and availability of the PadFone X, but for now, here are it complete specs:
