ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the G550JK gaming notebook, a compact powerhouse with a 15.6-inch display. The notebook is poered by 4th-generation Intel Core i7 processors, and uses an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M GPU that can be safely overclocked by up to 5% thanks to ASUS TurboMaster technology. To keep things cool when running at maximum speed, the G550JK features an intelligent dual-fan cooling system, which uses two independent fans and copper heat-sinks for the CPU and GPU.

The notebook has a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS LED-backlit display, with 178-degree viewing angles and anti-glare coating. ASUS Color Gamut Management and automatic Color Management ensure lifelike colors.

ASUS SonicMaster Premium, incorporating ICEpower, Bang & Olufsen technology, gives G550JK powerful high-fidelity audio, and the external SonicMaster subwoofer pumps out bass.
