Razer Closes the Razer Game Store
Razer announced that it would close the Razer Game Store (gamestore.razer.com) on February 28, 2019 as part of the company’s realignment plans.
Razer says it will still honor pre-orders and notes that games will still work as long as you have their Steam or Uplay keys, but you won't have access to those keys once February is over. From March onward, you'll only get games from Razer through its reward programs.
The store will shut down roughly 10 months after it opened in April 2018. It delivered both exclusive game deals as well as discounts on peripherals.
"It has been a privilege for us to recommend and deliver great digital game deals to you. We have been extremely fortunate to have you as part of our awesome community. Thank you for the support and making all this possible." said the Razer Game Store team.
"We will be investing in other ways to deliver great content and introduce game promotions through Razer Gold, our virtual credits system," the team added.
