Freecom announces "CLICK AND RIDE"

Freecom announces "CLICK AND RIDE"

General Interest Jan 8,2003 0

In this graphically appealing flash game, the user plays the role of a snowboarder who has to master a downhill slope. This is how it works: the user can select from three snowboarders; each snowboarder can perform certain standard moves, and also has one particular special move, from a Backflip to an Indy Air... The objective of the game is to negotiate various slopes, avoiding trees and rocks on the way, jumping various ramps and collecting Freecom products. As one climbs from level to level, the piste becomes longer and more difficult. Jumps and special moves give points, as does the collecting of the products. The greater the points total, the higher one stands in the high score list. Every week, the top scorers qualify to enter a prize draw for a valuable Freecom product. The extra bonus is that players can use the points scored to reach different discount zones, and at the end of each game purchase products directly from the Freecom Online Shop at reduced prices.

For example, if the player reaches discount zone 1, he can buy the FHD-1 external hard disk for 239 € instead of 249 €. In discount zone 4, the very latest Beatman II MiniCD/MP3 Player is available for only 79 € instead of 159 €. The blue player is also the ideal accompaniment for real boarding.

Want to move? Enter to win: The game is running immediately under www.freecom.com, and will be online for the complete snowboarding season. Freecom Freerider is programmed and implemented by the agency F3 Multimedia (www.f-3.de) in Berlin.
