3D Contrent For Nintendo's 3DS Game Handleld in May
Nintendo will reportedly start releaseing 3D videos and games for its new 3DS handheld game device in late May.
According to the company's president Satoru Iwata, Nintendo will set up an online site to download sample 3D games and videos for the 3DS device, which will hit Japanese store shelves late next month and also reach the U.S. by the end of March for $250.
The Asahi Shimbun newspaper also reported that game maker would offer daily distribution of 3D videos created by Nippon Television Network Corp. and Fuji Television Network Inc. for 3DS units. Nintendo will release a free software player for the Nintendo 3DS that will allow users to watch 3D videos from both broadcasters through their device, the paper added.
