Analyst Sees Massive Hardware Refresh Across iPhones, iPads and Macs
TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expects that Apple is preparing to unveils new iPhones, iPad Pros, a Mac Mini and much more by the end of the year.
First of all, Kuo sees the release of three new iPhones -- a 5.8-inch OLED iPhone, a 6.5-inch OLED iPhone Plus, and a cheaper 6.1-inch LCD iPhone.
He also believes that two updated iPad Pros are on the away. He expects new 12.9- and 11-inch iPad Pros equipped with Face ID technology.
A bunch of new Macs - iMac, MacBook Pro, MacBook, and the Mac Mini -- will be also updated, according to Kuo.
In the smartwatch front, two new Apple Watch models featuring 1.57-inch 1.78-inch displays along with enhanced heat rate detection, are also on the way, he says.
Apple announced last year the AirPower charger, a device that can simultaneously charge an iPhone, an Apple Watch, and the AirPods carry case. This one is also expected to find its way to the market this year.
It is not clear whether Apple will choose to showcase all these at its iPhone event in September.
