Apple wants to expand music download service across Europe
Apple Computer is planning to expand its online music download service to more European countries, the company announced at the Popkomm music trade fair.
Having given the iTunes Music Store service its European launch in Britain, France and Germany in June, tXhe company is looking to offer customers the service to "more than four to five other countries", Eddy Cue -- Apple's vice president of Applications and Internet Services -- said Wednesday.
He gave no further details.
Apple has sold more than 125 million songs worldwide since the service first went online in the United States in April 2003.
