ASUS Republic of Gamers Announces Cetra True Wireless Headphones
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced today the launch of Cetra Genuine Wireless, the company's first true wireless gaming headphones.
The headphones combine Hybrid Active Noise Cancelation (ANC) technology and low-latency wireless performance to offer immersive in-game audio and music, guaranteeing players are treated to perfect audio with little-to-no delay for flawlessly synced audiovisuals in competitive gaming.
ROG Cetra True Wireless headphones deliver low-latency wireless audio to ensure greater levels of synchronization between the onscreen action and in-game audio when compared to most Bluetooth® true wireless headphones. The lag-free performance of ROG Cetra True Wireless nearly matches that of wired earphones.
Active Noise Cancelation
ROG True Cetra Wireless uses ANC technology to detect and filter all noise, utilizing small microphones inside the earbuds to neutralize unwanted sounds. Even in noisy environments, ROG True Cetra Wireless treats users to an immersive audio experience, whether they’re listening to music or gaming. ROG Cetra True Wireless features specially tuned 10 mm ASUS Essence drivers and airtight chambers to provide rich, clean sound in the mid- and high-frequency ranges, as well as powerful bass for a true-to-life audio experience.
ROG Cetra True Wireless users can enjoy up to 5.5 hours of use on a single charge, with the bundled charging case providing an additional 21.5 hours of listening time for up to 27 hours of total battery life. And to keep downtime to a minimum, built-in quick-charge technology provides users with up to 1.5 hours of listening with just a 10-minute charge. The charging case can be charged via USB-C® or compatible wireless chargers. Lastly, ROG Cetra True Wireless has an IPX4 rating and is splash-resistant, allowing users to use it rain or shine.
ROG Cetra True Wireless headphones will be available from Mid-April in the Benelux region. The MSRP is not yet known.
