Seagate has now produced three Mandalorian-themed storage drives. Special Edition Beskar Ingot External hard drives, M.2 NVMe drives, and SATA SSDs are all available as FireCuda devices.

The design is inspired on the beskar ingots shown in the first season of The Mandalorian, and even has the Galactic Empire's symbol.

With the exception of the Star Wars logo, the NVMe SSDs are the Firecuda 530, one of our favorite gaming SSDs. The 530s provide adequate performance but are more costly than comparable M.2 drives such as the WD Black series. That said, those units do not appear as fantastic as these. Beskar is a very durable metal that is utilized to create the armor of the Mandalorians, the planet Mandalore's warrior tribe. He is capable of resisting blaster shots and obstructing lightsabers. The Mandalorian obtains many beskar ingots after successfully satisfying a bounty. Mando then melts the beskar and forges it into some fancy-looking armor before departing to do some Star Wars-related work.
