Asus VivoTab RT Tablet Available On AT&T For $499

PC components Nov 14,2012 0

The ASUS VivoTab RT, a new tablet designed for Windows 8, will be available for AT&T's customers beginning Nov. 16 for $499.99 after exclusive holiday promotions, including a free Mobile Dock with a keyboard and additional battery. AT&T will be the only U.S. carrier to offer the new LTE capable tablet from ASUS this holiday shopping season. For a limited time, AT&T customers will receive a $100 off the ASUS VivoTab RT, after purchasing any Windows smartphone and an additional $100 off any tablet, purchased at an AT&T company owned store or online at www.att.com with a two-year data plan agreement.

ASUS VivoTab RT features a 2MP front camera along with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and auto-focus. ASUS SonicMaster audio technology, developed with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower, is responsible for the sound.

ASUS VivoTab RT features an optional mobile dock (sold separately; bundled free for a limited time) that allows for increased productivity and longer battery life. When docked, ASUS VivoTab RT becomes a portable device with keyboard, multi-touch touchpad and USB port, plus up to 15 hours use with the dock's built-in battery. ASUS VivoTab RT with Windows RT comes preloaded with Office Home & Student 2013 RT Preview.
