Verdict of Teac Results

From the results of tests we can see clearly CDFS can stand pretty good against EAC Secure mode. Since it uses windows code for extracting wavs it is ahead all rippers into speed. Max (15.10x ) speed noticed at DMA On & Sync Data Transfer on and lower speed (4.66x) at DMA On & Sync Data Transfer off. It seems that Sync Data Tranfer affects into CDFS's ripping speed.

Quality is a matter which must give a great attention since we all don't want to hear pops, clicks and hiss when we hear our CDs. EAC and CDFS managed to produce clear and exact copies without any pop or click inside.

Final Verdict

Use EAC and maybe CDFS (when you need it). Both programs are freeware (cost nothing to you) and can really produce exact audio copies of your favorite wavs.
