CIA Joins Facebook, Twitter
U.S. spy agency CIA has officially joined Twitter (@CIA) and Facebook on Friday , with the agency's first Twitter message to be surpisingly funny.
It said: "We can neither confirm nor deny that this is our first tweet."
As it was expected, in less than 2 hours, the CIA account had nearly 90,000 followers.
The Central Intelligence Agency also maintains official accounts on YouTube and Flickr.
CIA says that its presence at the social platforms will help the agency engage with the public and provide information on CIA?s mission, history, and other developments.
