Corsair Neutron XTi Series Performance SSDs Released
CORSAIR is launching its latest range of solid state drives, the Neutron Series XTi, based on a quad-core Phison controller and performance MLC NAND. Available initially in capacities of 240 GB, 480 GB and 960 GB, Neutron Series XTi will also become CORSAIR's first 1920 GB SSD in the near future.
The Neutron Series XTi utilizes a dedicated quad-core controller. The result is transfer speeds of up to 560 MB/sec, 540 MB/s sequential write, 4KB random read of up to 100,000 IOPS and 4K random write of up to 90,000 IOPS.
The Neutron Series XTi is also equipped with end-to-end data path protection, ensuring data is protected against corruption from the host to the NAND gate. Power loss protection with SmartFlush and GuaranteedFlush technologies as well as a host of error correction technologies further secure the drive.
Available immediately from CORSAIR's worldwide network of authorized retailers, the Neutron Series XTi 240 GB is priced at a MSRP of USD $89.99, the Neutron Series XTi 480 GB at $159.99 and the Neutron Series XTi 960 GB at $329.99. All four are backed with a 5-year warranty.
