COVID-19 Pandemic Pushes Computex Taipei Trade Show to September
As it was expected, global ICT and IoT show Computex Taipei has been cancelled and has been rescheduled to run in September.
Co-organizers Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taipei Computer Association (TCA) said in a statement:
"Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, Computex is rescheduled to September 28-30, 2020, at Taipei Nangang Excibition Center Hall 2 (TaiNEX 2). Innovex )for startups) will be held simultaneously.
Computex Taipei was scheduled for early-June in Taipei.
Earlier this week, a number of manufactures sent out public flares, asking organizers to delay the event.
Almost all the large technology gatherings and events around the world have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of then have gone all-digital, while other have been pushed back in later dates.
