Companies showcase playback of mobile TV via CyberLink DVB-H TV Solution operating on the Microsoft Windows Mobile platform CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a world leader in digital home solutions, announced the demonstration of mobile TV via CyberLink DVB-H TV Solution, software designed for the Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system.

CyberLink DVB-H TV Solution is a software player for mobile devices such as Pocket PCs and Portable Media Centers. This week at Computex 2006, June 6-10, CyberLink will demonstrate its mobile TV software at the Microsoft display, Hall 3. Functioning on the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system, CyberLink DVB-H TV Solution will also be featured at CyberLink’s Computex suite at the Grand Hyatt hotel, Rooms 1049 and 1024.

Following CyberLink’s success in developing software solutions for Windows XP and XP Embedded platforms through products such as PowerCinema, CyberLink DVB-H TV Solution enables the decoding and playback of TV content on the Windows Mobile platform.

“The Windows Mobile operating system is a great platform for software designers, like CyberLink, to develop entertainment and productivity applications for mobile devices,” said Eddie Wu, Senior Regional Director, Device Solutions Sales Asia & Worldwide ODM Ecosystems. “We are very pleased to see that CyberLink is leading the way in releasing software like CyberLink DVB-H TV Solution for the enjoyment of digital TV based on the DVB-H standard.”

“CyberLink DVB-H TV Solution and Windows Mobile enable access to anytime, anywhere TV programming,” said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink. “Through our cooperation with Microsoft, and our relationships with leading industry broadcast content and hardware providers, CyberLink is delivering a market-ready product for handheld makers.”
