Data Loss Prevention capabilities Coming to OneDrive for Business

Data Loss Prevention capabilities Coming to OneDrive for Business

Enterprise & IT Apr 21,2015 0

Microsoft has announced the upcoming availability of new DLP capabilities for OneDrive for Business. Initially the company will focuson "people-centric compliance", i.e. recognizing that most people in your organization have no intent to maliciously use sensitive data but there’s always that "oops moment" when they inadvertently do the wrong thing. With the DLP capabilities coming you’ll be able to create proactive policies to remediate violations and empower your users with policy tips and notification emails so they can take the right decisions while working with sensitive data.

These capabilities will be available broadly across Office 365 in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.
