Fujitsu Microelectronics Limited and Nanya Technology today announced that they have signed a patent license agreement containing licensing terms with financial arrangements to resolve patent disputes between the companies. Under the agreement signed on September 2nd, 2008, Fujitsu Microelectronics parent company Fujitsu Limited will withdraw its request to have an injunction enforced against the import of Nanya Technology’s DRAM products into Japan and will terminate its legal proceeding against Nanya Technology in the United States. Nanya Technology will also terminate its legal proceedings in Japan and the United States. Other terms of the agreement are not disclosed.

"Fujitsu Microelectronics has a long track record of successful research and development of semiconductors, with over 10,000 patents around the world in the LSI field, including semiconductor memories. We are happy with this result and the respect accorded to our patent portfolio."
