Fujitsu Relases New Extreme Series SSDs
Fujitsu will be launching its new Extreme Series Solid-state Drives (SSD), powered by an LSI SandForce controller and based on IMFT MLC memory.
Designed to deliver high performance, the Extreme Series SSD works with the
latest SATAIII interface, providing 6Gbps of transfer speed at
sequential read/write up to 550/510 MB/s. Fujitsu said that these new drives will employ the latest MLC NAND from IMFT, possibly 16nm 128Gbit MLC NAND.
