Google To Relase LG Nexus 4, 10-inch Tablet Soon
Reports hint that Google will showcases a 10-inch. tablet running Android 4.2 and an LG Nexus 4 smartphone as early as next week.
Google has already sent out invitations for an Oct. 29 event that will be held in New York City. Google used the the phrase, "The playground is open" non the invitations.
The Next Web said that Google would unveil a 10-inch tablet and a new Nexus smartphone at the event, citing an an unnamed source.
Google has no commented on the report.
According to th report, the LG Nexus 4 smartphone will have a quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 4.7-in. display with 1280 x 768 resolution. It will also have a 2100 mAh battery, 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and an 8-megapixel rear camera.
The reported 10-in. tablet would have a better resolution, at 300 pixels per inch, than the new iPad, which has 264 PPI.
Apple is also expected to announce the iPad mini tablet on Tuesday, and Microsoft will follow with the oficial launch of its Windows 8 OS and the Surface RT tablets on Thursday.
