The GP2X console is black in color. On the front surface, we have the 8 way joystick, A/B/Y/Xstart/select buttons, the +/- volume adjuster and finally the Power/battery leds. There are also two speakers, well placed, that produce enough sound volume to watch a movie:

At the bottom edge, we find the EXTernal port, protected by a rubber cover. Usually, to this port we can connect the TV-Out adapter. According to some sources, the Samsung e810/e730 and LG U8110/20/30/36/38 mobile telephone data cables also work or even special USB cables, allowing it to connect with other USB devices:

On the top edge, we find the SD card slot, the headset connector and the L/R buttons:

On the right side, we have the mini USB connector and the DC adapter:
