HTC's Flagship Smartphone To Launch On March 25

HTC's Flagship Smartphone To Launch On March 25

Smartphones Feb 18,2014 0

HTC has starting sending press invitations for its next big event, scheduled for March 25th, where the company's next flagship smartphone will be revealed. HTC promises that the new phone will be its "primary flagship for 2014."

The successor to the well-regarded HTC One, possibly codenamed M8, is expected to have only minor tweaks and refinement to the previous design such as a potentially with a larger 5-inch screen, as well as changes to the software - HTC's Sense software atop the Android platform. The new device has been also rumored to be equipped with a dual-sensor camera, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with at least 2GB of RAM.

With the company's profits and sales continuing to fall, HTC has announced that it would also expand into lower end products.
