Intel SSD 335 Series Coming Soon
Intel will release its new Intel SSD 335 series next month, a 6 Gigabit-per-second (Gbps) SATA III SSD based on 20nm MLC NAND memory.
The 2.5-inch (9.5mm thick) solid-state drive (SSDSC2CT2404K5) is based on the same SandForce SF2281 controller also found at the company's SSD 330 series and will be available in a 240GB version.Intel plans to offer 180GB and 80GB versions of the drive in 2013.
The 240GB Intel SSD 335 will retail for about $215 and will be backed by a 3-year warranty.
Later in 2013, Intel will also replace the SSD 525 series with the release of the "Sierra Star" series of SSDs.
