JVC) will have products on exhibit at the "CEATEC JAPAN 2004" to be held from Tuesday, October 5 through Saturday, October 9 at the Makuhari Messe (Nippon Convention Center). Displaying JVC's continuing commitment to excellence, the exhibit reveals the future of audio-visual technology, spotlighting the company's high-clarity, ultra high-resolution imaging and "emotional" sound technologies.

Main Attractions at the JVC Booth (Located in Hall 3A32)

1. Extremely High Resolution Video Theater (Prototype Technology)

The JVC Extremely High Resolution Video Theater features images taken with a 4K Super High Definition (HD) video camera, which delivers roughly four times the resolution of conventional HDTV format. Images will be shown using a 4K2K D-ILA projector. JVC, in collaboration with NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation), will present a sneak preview of Super High-Vision images with 4,320 scanning lines. Products on display include the latest plasma and LCD TVs equipped with Genessa "Image Intelligence" technology, the Luciole optical wireless HDTV transmission system, and the HD-ILA rear projection televisions currently available in North America.
