Writing Quality Tests - C1 / C2 Error Measurements

The C1 / C2 error rate was measured for the recorded discs, burned during the previous writing tests (jitter). The software used was UMDoctor Pro II and the reader is the Optorite DD0203 drive.

The screenshots from Umdoctor show some minor spikes with all written media but at specifice areas. Although no C2 errors were reported, one of the worst written media was TY at 24x that returned C1 errors out of screenshot. Umdoctor confirmed the bad CD-R written quality of Hi-Space and Philips.
