New 64GB Moto X Available for $449
Motorola has just introduced a 64GB variant of the Moto X smartphone, priced at $449 without a contract.
Since the Moto X doesn't come with a microSD slot, those requiring even more space may be interested in the new device.
The off-contract Moto X is available for use on a number of U.S. carriers including AT&T, Republic Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon Wireless.
Motorola also introduced a limited "try then buy" promotion. The deal lets you put one penny down on any Moto X - complete with Moto Maker customizations - and take it for a two week test drive. If you don't like it after that, you just return it.
Motorola also recently opened up its Motorola Alert app to more of its phones. Motorola Alert automatically sends location updates to specific people. The app can be used in times of emergency or just to let your loved ones know when you get home or arrive at work.
Motorola is also expected to release the Moto X+1 in late summer or early fall.
