New LG PJ9 Bluetooth Speaker Is Floating On Air
LG will bring to the market next year a new magnetic-floating Bluetooth speaker, which will deliver 360-degree sound above a magnetic woofer station.
The Seoul-based electronics firm said the new PJ9 comes with two passive radiators, allowing users to enjoy a more balanced bass and mid-range sound. The speaker is set to be showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017, which starts next week in Las Vegas.
The speaker has a 10-hour battery life and when it runs out of power, it drops down to the center of the woofer station, and starts charging wirelessly.
The speaker is also waterproof for 30 minutes in water with a depth of less than 1 meter. As the device has been rated with the IPX7 waterproofing standard, it can be used in such areas as swimming pools, bathtubs and camping sites.
The oval-shaped floating device, coupled with a cylindrical woofer base comes with a matt white color.
LG has yet to unveil specific pricing details.
