New Projection Technology Improves The Quality Of 4K Images

New Projection Technology Improves The Quality Of 4K Images

Consumer Electronics Feb 26,2013 0

Japanese researchers have developed a new technology to project crystal-clear, ultra-detailled images, further improving the quality of the 4K digital resolution pictures and video. I-cubed Research Center Inc. has announced the "Intelligent Spectacle Vision Creation technology" (ISVC), which can be applied to 4K content and improve the definition of the background elements found on an image, promising to offer the viewer the impression that he or she actually sees a live image or video.

The ISVC is also capable of displaying sharp images with fine details, which normally cannot be clearly captured by a camera, even when displayed on screens larger than 150 inches.

The technology can be implemented on device such as large screens installed in public places or large home theater projectorss. I-cubed Research Center hopes that products using the new technology will appear next year.
